Antique Frames
All of our original antiques were made in America in the late 1800's to early 1900's.
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our antique iron bed frames, we do not accept hold requests.
Antique iron beds come complete with original headboards, footboards, side rails and bed slats to support your mattress set. Headboards only are not available.
Conversions of original antique 3/4 and full sizes are available. Queen conversions at $80, headboard raises $75, canopy conversions start at $275, King conversions $550.
Refinishing of original antiques start at $100 for single color finish and range from $175 to $375 for custom finishes. Prices for custom finishes are determined by the size of the frame and complexity of the finish.
Finish samples are available upon request, once a purchase has been made.

All are hand-crafted to order here in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Custom designs are available including canopy conversions, post and finial substitutions, post and canopy height adjustments, rail height adjustments and false footboards.
Lead time averages 8 to 10 weeks. If you require delivery sooner, please call to request our rush order service.

Billing & Order Status
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
For all antique iron bed frames we require payment in full at time of purchase.
For all non-antique items:
Orders placed with accepted credit cards require a 50% deposit to begin production.
Once your order has been placed, an email confirmation is sent to you and a hard copy invoice for your records. We do not disclose or sell email addresses or personal information.
We will notify you prior to delivery via email or, if you prefer, by telephone for processing any outstanding balance on your order including delivery charge.
Cancellation Policy
If for any reason you wish to cancel your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. All of our non-antique items are custom made to order, therefore, once your order has been placed, we are responsible for manufacturing costs. After 72 hours of placing an order, cancellation requests are accepted at the discretion of A I B and are subject to a 50% restocking fee.
Price Adjustments
Prices are subject to change. We offer a one-time adjustment for items purchased within 7 days of a price decrease. This includes permanent price adjustments only and excludes temporary, special promotion sales.
Sales Tax
California residents will be charged the appropriate sales tax rate based on the delivery address.
Shipping & Delivery
A I B ships the world over.
Domestic Orders
All domestic orders are shipped ground carrier. Outside the Los Angeles area our delivery companies are Con-Way Transportation, Old Dominion Freight and MGM. Our local delivery company is A-1 Express.
White glove delivery, including setup, is available for Los Angeles County residents. Please call for quotes.
Charges, based on item weight, average $200 for original antique frames and $130 for all other items.
Upon arrival in your area, the freight service will call you to schedule an appointment. Typically youll be given a 3-4 hour window of time that someone must be present to accept delivery. All deliveries are scheduled for daytime hours between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
All freight service delivery is "Curbside Only". If you need your order brought inside and/or upstairs, additional delivery charges will apply. Should you prefer inside delivery, please request so before your order ships.
Remote or not easily accessible delivery locations may require a secondary carrier and, if so, additional delivery charges may apply.
If your delivery does not arrive as scheduled, please call A I B and we will contact the carrier for an update.
Damaged Items
IMPORTANT: Orders damaged during shipping, which are properly documented, will be replaced at no additional charge. Inspect packages thoroughly before signing, noting any dented corners, tears or punctures on the shipper's bill of lading and have the driver initial the notation. A I B is not responsible for damaged items that have been signed for without noting the damage or possible damage at time of delivery. Orders that arrive with obvious damage should be rejected.
All damaged items should be reported by calling A I B at (800) 378-1742 within 48 hours of delivery.
Orders Outside the US Mainland
Delivery by air or by boat can be arranged. Airport and dock pickups or home delivery options are available. Please call or email for quotes.
Guarantees & Returns
Antique Frames
All sales are final with no refunds offered. Any antique bed (with the exception of king conversions) may be exchanged for another of equal or greater value anytime after purchase. Customer is responsible for all packing and round-trip shipping charges.
Non-Antique Items
The American Iron Bed Company collections are made only here in the USA. We know that the superior quality and craftsmanship of American-made iron products insures your satisfaction. If, however, you are unsatisfied with your order once it arrives, call us within 3 days of delivery. No returns will be accepted without prior approval from A I B. Items must be returned in their original packaging and arrive undamaged. Items returned for any reason other than manufacturing defects or shipping damage will be subject to shipping charges and a 50% restocking fee. Custom orders are non-refundable. Prior to order placement, customer is responsible for determining that stairways, ceiling clearance, hallways and doorways can accommodate item(s) purchased.
Warranties
A I B warrants all non-antique product's structural integrity to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for life. This warranty is for normal household use and requires the use of an A I B's supplied bedframe, rails or top spring or an approved alternate. This warranty does not apply to trundle units, upholstery or damage from neglect or intentional abuse, institutional or commercial use and moving damage.
Repairs or replacement under this warranty shall be made without charge to the customer.
Returns to the factory, under this warranty, are subject to packing and shipping charges. |
